Avelina Camacho

Vice President
Mexico
My name is Avelina Camacho. I was born in the city of Guamúchil, Sinaloa, Mexico. I come from a family of seven sisters and one brother.
My mother was a businesswoman and my father was a farmer. They taught me to be humble and to respect others. I studied Psychology and hold a Doctorate in Ontology. On August 15, I completed a Diploma in Immigration Studies at the Instituto de Emigración in the State of Texas.
I work in the prisons of Lompoc, Chuckawalla, Chino, and Norco, providing psychological therapy to inmates. I also offer my services at the Adelanto Detention Center in California.
I serve as President of an organization called “Amistades Sin Fronteras.” My work involves supporting detainees in ICE custody by posting bond, assisting with immigration paperwork, and purchasing airline tickets for their travel destinations.
